Phish Sold Out For UIC Shows In August

Phish announced in April that they were adding three more shows to their coast to coast Summer 11 tour.  The UIC Pavillion will be the host to these shows coming August 14th, 15th, and 16th.

Even though tickets sold out instantly after being released to the public, you can still find tickets from brokers, Craigslist, and auction websites.  The UIC Pavilion has some great history with Phish, the last time they came to UIC was November 98 where they also graced Chicago with a three night performance.

It has been said that there is a great feeling and atmosphere at the UIC because of the more personal experience you get only being apart of 10,000 opposed to massive arena type crowds.  UIC has great history with the band and Chicago is waiting anxiously to be apart of the next group of stories and memories.

Chicago so far is the second to last venue for the boys who will “end” the tour at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City Colorado.  Phish is currently on the east coast before making their ways to Washington and California, then coming to Chicago and ending in Colorado.

So have a good time, please don’t be the idiots that I talk about with my buddies after the show, and don’t buy or sell anything to the guys with the brand new tie-dyes and sandals on.
