Oprah’s Farewell Spectacular at United Center

The upcoming final weeks for the Chicago-based daytime talk queen are approaching fast.

Fans have been questioning how Oprah Winfrey will leave with a bang.

A recent reveal gives insight to her planned spectacle: “Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular.”

Set to tape at the United Center on May 17, Winfrey will tape a “star-studded” extravaganza that will cover two days of her talk show, May 23 and 24.

The “surprise” portion of the show, according to Oprah’s producers, indicates mystery guests that even Oprah doesn’t know about.

The producers plan to spring surprise guests on her, including “some of the biggest names in music, movies and television.”┬áThe only line-up that has been announced are those of sponsors that include Target, Marriott, Sprint and Citibank.

Ticket distribution will begin 10 a.m. this Friday at no charge.

Free tickets are to be distributed through Oprah.com via reservation requests that will last from 10 a.m. CT Friday to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

According to the website, anyone who signs up during that time slot has an equal chance of winning the randomly distributed tickets.

It’s still unannounced as to how Oprah will handle her final original episode, though it is unsure as to how she will top herself for the big finale.
