NCAA Football Media Week

As the College Football season approaches various top collegiate football conferences have been holding their media availability sessions at  hotels and resorts around the country. Today the Pac 12 tpok its turn to have coaches and team captains meet with the media. The Pac is loaded with offensive talent, but today’s spotlight was on USC Coach Lane Kiffin, whose program just got off probation for the Reggie Bush incident. The Trojans have spent the last two years banned from the Pac 12 Title Game as well as a bowl game. Kiffin came to the podium joined by all-world quarterback Matt Barkley who set a conference record for most touchdown passes in a season and is expected to be the front runner for the Heisman Trophy.

Lane Kiffin has made himself the focal point of the Penn State transfer saga as he has openly indicates his desire for star running back Silas Redd to bolster the Trojans’ backfield. Kiffen used the press conference to say that he needed to change a recruit’s position to create an open position for another recruit, implying a clearcut opportunity for Redd to step right in at the position at start for the preseason number one team in the country. Redd will have to think long and hard about his options, it’s hard to ignore a top-tier coach openly trying to bring you into a program on a national stage when his team is expected to compete for a championship.

Should Redd Transfer?
