Mag Mile Lights Festival

CHICAGO, Ill. ¬†–In honor of the city’s 19th annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival on Saturday, Michigan Avenue was stockpiled with entertainment for the whole family.

Pioneer Court was jam-packed with live concerts and booths open to the public hosted by companies like Eli’s Cheesecake, where its famous slices were being handed out for free.

Arguably the most-anticipated event of the festival was the lighting parade. People of all ages gathered to watch Mickey Mouse officially illuminate Michigan Avenue with over one million lights spanning from Oak Street to Wacker Drive.

As the grand finale, the dense crowds were treated to an elaborate show from the Allstate Fireworks Spectacular over the river. The perfect way to kick off the holiday season with a big bang.
