Green Greatness

The Green Bay Packers led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers pulled off the big win tonight in Texas and earned their fourth Super Bowl title. Green Bay has not won a Super Bowl since January 1997 during the Favre era.

Not only was number 12 Aaron Rodgers a critical component to the game, he was also named MVP. Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and led the Packers to a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Although the Steelers put up a good fight and only trailed 21-3 before halftime, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger couldn’t quite finish the job. With 1:59 left in the fourth quarter, with 87 yards to go, Roethlisberger couldn’t make it across midfield.
