Firefighters respond to high-rise rubbish fire

The Chicago Fire Department was called to a high-rise building Sunday morning for a rubbish fire, according to officals.

A still-and-box alarm was called around 5:20 a.m. to a 20-story high-rise building located at 1221 North Dearborn, said Chicago Fire spokesman Kevin MacGregor.

The fire was contained to one duplex apartment on the 8th and 9th floors, MacGregor said.

There were no injuries reported, but an EMS Plan 1 was called as a precaution, MacGregor added.
