Fire breaks out in Lincoln Park apartment building

The Chicago Fire Department responded to an two-alarm fire in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, said Chicago Fire spokesman Quention Curtis.

The fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. on the second floor of the apartment building in the 2600 block of North Hampden Court, said Curtis.

There were no injuries as of 3:30 p.m., but an EMS Plan 1, which brings five ambulances to the scene was called a precaution, said Curtis.

The 2-11 alarm was struck out at about 2:30 p.m.
