Early Voting in Chicago

For those who do not want to wait until Election Day, early voting is now available for the 2011 Municipal General Election.

Early voting will be available at all 51 sites across the city of Chicago from Jan. 31 through Feb. 17. Chicago voters may use any site regardless of what area they live, and may only vote once.

All polls will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Lincoln’s Birthday, Friday, Feb. 11.

There is also a grace-period from Jan. 26 through Feb. 15 for voters who missed regular registration or whose registration information is not up to date.

Voters can visit the Cook County Clerk office during the grace period, located at 69 W. Washington, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 12 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
