Charlie Sheen Gets Applause

Maybe it was the tiger blood.

Charlie Sheen’s 20-city variety comedy tour called “My Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat Is Not An Option” kicked off Saturday night in Detroit.

Despite bad reviews immediately following the Detroit show, Sheen continued his tour with his girlfriends, which he refers to as “goddesses”, and arrived in Chicago Sunday night to perform at The Chicago Theatre.

The fired CBS actor took the stage for the scheduled 8 p.m. show at around 8:20 and left around 10 p.m., with the audience giving Sheen a standing ovation.

In regards to the show’s very¬†mixed reviews, Sheen claims that the first show in Detroit was just “an experiment”, and after discovering what mistakes were made, the show was revamped in time for Chicago.

Sheen says, “We talked about it on the bus coming back…I wrote, we started writing…just stories, you know, themes, whatever, just bullet points.”

Sheen continues his tour in Cleveland tonight.
