Bulls checkmate Kings

Chicago- Bulls come home to dominate the struggling Sacramento Kings for their 13th straight home win.  With Chicago racking up the points through out the game they were able to rest the starters for the 4th.  The whole team pitched in for this win.  Kyle Korver and Derrick Rose tied for point leaders at 18 a piece.  All starters contributed 14 points or more in the win.  “It was fun to watch tonight,” Carlos Boozer said. “It’s fun to watch everybody play.”

From start to finish, stat to stat, the Bulls crushed Sacramento on all aspects.  Chicago had 36 points on fast breaks to the Kings 7,  the Bulls caused 22 turnovers to their opponents 10.  Sacramento was out shot in the paint 56 to 22.  “Some of that is experience, some of that is execution, some of that is poor fundamentals and we have to improve in all areas,” said Kings head coach Paul Westphal.

One of the best stats to take away from this game is that in the 4th with Chicago’s bench out they had their best quarter against the Kings they held Sacramento to 20 points and put up 34.  The Bulls ended the game with a commanding lead of 40.

Besides winning their 13th straight at hom,e Chicago has also won their 50th of the year, they have not reached that mark since Michael Jordan graced the city with his skills.  Chicago is tied with the Celtics for first place, and the Bulls will try to take back 1st going up against the Hawks Tuesday night in Atlanta, at 7pm on TNT.
