Presidential Election: One Day to Go and It’s a Tie

A new CNN/ORC International poll shows the presidential race is in a statistical tie going into Tuesday’s Election Day. In the national survey of likely voters, President Obama and Governor Romney each have 49%.

It is close in other areas as well. Obama’s favorable rating: 52%. Romney’s favorable rating: 51%.  51% say they agree with Obama on important issues. 50% say the same about Romney. 56% say that Obama has the personal qualities a president should have.; 55% feel that way about Romney. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5% points.
