$147 Million? Another Potential Cost to Taxpayers

The Department of Aviation is looking to sign an approximate $1 Billion, 25-year contract for food and retail concessions at O’Hare’s International terminal.

Westfield Ltd., Deleware North, and Chicago Aviation Partners(CAP) are all bidding on the Contract.  Out of the three, front-runner Westfiled Ltd will raise approximately $285 million dollars for the City of Chicago.  CAP will bring revenues of $431 million, and Deleware North $417 million.
